To use Pro Tools plug-ins, you need the following:

Any of the following systems:

An Avid-qualified system running Pro Tools or Pro Tools HD

A qualified Avid VENUE system (TDM only)

A qualified Avid Media Composer® system (AudioSuite and RTAS only)

An Avid-qualified system and a third-party software application that supports the AAX, RTAS, TDM, or AudioSuite plug-in standards

USB Smart Key (iLok), for plug-ins that can be purchased or rented

The iLok USB Smart Key is not supplied with plug-ins or software options. You can use the one included with certain Pro Tools systems or purchase one separately.

Avid can only assure compatibility and provide support for hardware and software it has tested and approved.
